Heroes are born

Onlangs kwamen we te weten dat er een nieuw topteam in de maak was. Een team die uit allemaal spelers bestaat die we kennen uit de scene, maar ze zochten nog een vijfde speler.

Met CIC7 in aantocht zijn er heel wat teams die de draad terug oppikken of gewoon als mix naar het evenement willen gaan. Op dit moment zijn er al meer dan 20 teams ingeschreven en er komen er zeker nog bij. Een team die er ook zal te zien zijn is het nieuwe team Heroes.

Heroes is een team die bestaat uit allemaal top-spelers uit de Call of Duty 4 scene. Het is een team bestaande uit vier spelers uit de Benelux, aangevuld met een heel sterke speler namelijk Claudio "solu" Giovanniello. Bij de vier spelers uit de benelux vinden we de Belg Jasko "cozje" Berbic die we eerder aan het werk zagen bij TLR, infused en het onlangs gestopte corgz. Hij kwam als laatste bij de line-up. Verder vind je er nog drie Nederlanders die we ook kennen van tal van top-teams: Jelle "pr0phecy" Monen, Robby "pazazu" Kraai en Boudewijn "aerox" Verleg.

Ze zijn nog op zoek naar een organisatie, maar zullen al zeker te zien zijn om Frag-O-Matic en op CIC7. We mogen ook zeker verwachten dat ze er een mooi resultaat zullen neerzetten.

Statement van Boudewijn "aerox" Verleg aan tek9:

"After joining up with Proph, Paz and Solu, the hunt for a fifth player went on. I'm pleased to say that we've found our fifth, albeit under not the best of circumstances. We would like to present our fifth player as none other then Cozje! Cozje was supposed to go to CC7 with CORGZ, however, after some events that took place in that team, they sadly split up. We quickly snapped up coz, and found the playstyles to match from the get-go. After a few days of playing, cozje decided to join us, and here we are. We're getting ready for CC7, and will do so by also attending the Frag-o-Matic 12.0 LAN in Belgium. We look forward to 2010, and hope that we can leave an impact on the scene. Massive shoutout to the Call of Duty 4 community, for rallying together, and getting the lans when it matters most. Also a big shoutout to Vanner for pretty much leading the troops, and the biggest shoutout of all goes to my new (and old) teammates, with whom i'm sure to have a fantastic time! We're also looking for an Organisation to support us in our endeavours, so contact anyone of us on xfire or irc."
