YYT.NL fold, aerox joint Element

Vandaag raakte bekend dat het Nederlandse team, YYT.nl ermee stopt en Boudewijn "Aerox" Verleg Team Element joint.

Het nieuws raakte bekend na een topic van pr0phecy op het Tek-9 forum. Enkele minuten later hadden er al een tiental mensen gereageerd op deze forumpost. Velen beweerden aanvankelijk dat het verhaal gelogen was, maar een uurtje later kwam YoYoTech dan toch naar buiten met de officiële bevestiging dat het team niet meer te vinden zal zijn in de scene. Het team leek te kampen met line-up problemen en eveneens was de motivatie van de spelers zo goed als weg.

De oorzaak van het verdwijnen van YYT.NL moet misschien wel gezocht worden bij hun ex-speler Boudewijn "Aerox" Verleg. Iets later na het nieuws van YYT.NL werd namelijk al bekend dat Aerox zal spelen voor Team Element. Dit is het team die je eerder nog onder de tag van dfiance zag spelen. Ze zijn overlaatst dan Element gejoind.

Statement  Srgy aan YYT:

"First of all we would like to thank the duchies for everything, it has been an absolute blast. With the signing of the former Analystic Gaming team things started with a real BANG with a great performance at Outpost on Fire where they beat a few recognised teams and made the top 5. However cracks started to appear not long after, leading to motivation issues, such a shame for such a talented team.

At Multiplay i37 I managed to meet all the guys and it was a great weekend (apart from Proph's snoring). I would like to wish all the guys well with whatever they do for the remaining days of COD4 and their days in MW2 and I hope they find the organisation they deserve."

Statement Louis ''evz'' Evans aan Team Element:

"After the leave of redblaze we knew we couldnt waste time like our mistake previously. It was sad to see him go but we have been blessed with aerox. When i found the news he was interested i knew this would be the best thing that could happen at the time. With him, we feel he will push us to the next level and we will develop a lot further as a team. We are looking for a very prosperous run with the new line up. Watch this space."
