Defcom met nieuw COD4 team

Zonet maakte Team Defcom bekend dat het een nieuw COD4-team heeft toegevoegd in hun organisatie.

Het team speelde eerder onder de naam iCon-Esport, een minder bekende organisatie , maar ze hebben de laatste tijd in de Call Of Duty 4 scene goed gepresteerd door teams als oXmoze, Love en ZelLion te verslaan. Ze zijn uitgegroeid tot één van de beste Franse teams. Het team bereidt zich momenteel voor op de Opale Arena 2009 LAN in Frankrijk op 22 en 23 augustus.

Statement door Defcom manager Bjorn "Pavo" Van de Sompel:
"It is with great pleasure that i can welcome the COD4 team into dC. This team has a great attitude to move forward and becoming better. I'm confident that they will succeed. We look forward to working with this team and hopefully its a long term agreement. Their first lan attendence will be the french lan Opale Arena 2009 on 22 and 23 august"

Statement door Christopher 'qriz' Burlett:
"We are glad to join the well known multigaming DEFCOM. I've heard a lot of good things about this organisation. I hope we will perform well under this tag online & offline and don't disapointed the hope place in our team!"

Niet enkel heeft Team-Defcom een nieuw team, maar ze verwelkomen namelijk ook Glenn "Dweepz" Roelandt in hun management.

Statement Glenn "Dweepz" Roelandt:
"After roughly a month of working in Perfect-eSports Pavo messaged me on xfire if I was having a good time in Perfect-eSports. My answer was no because the other managers in Perfect-eSports lacked dedication and there were some communication problems as they are Greek and I am Belgian. So after a few chats pavo asked me if I was interested becoming a part of defcom. This obviously was an easy decision because defcom is one of the fastest growing organisations in the Benelux and I can work with 2 dedicated managers namely pavo and emperor. I am very grateful for the opportunity that defcom is giving me and I will try to do my utmost best to take defcom to the next level together with pavo and emperor!"
