etRnal.CoD4 joint Rodcad

Gisteren raakte bekend dat het voormalig Call of Duty 4-team van etRnal met de vele verschillende bekende namen, Rodcad joint.

Het team dat bestaat uit allemaal bekende namen in de Belgische scene. Twee spelers die vroeger ook al onder de Rodcad-tag te bewonderen waren, Gevers en gig, komen terug thuis. Verder speelt niZ als scope, bekend van onder meer Sample This, Rodcad.CoD2 en mouk. Garby en goLd beiden heel ervaren spelers die je onder meer samen speelden bij defcom. Je kan dus wel stellen dat dit opnieuw een meerwaarde is voor de Belgische scene.

Het team zal voor het eerst te zien zijn op Outpost On Fire 3, een lan waar ze zich zeker zullen kunnen bewijzen tegen de vele topteams. Met deze mix van talent, skill en ervaring zal er zeker een mooi resultaat in kunnen zitten. Rodcad mag tevreden zijn met dit team en hoopt opnieuw goede resultaten te kunnen halen net als met hun vorige teams.

Statement David "garby" Rimbaut:

"I speak for the whole team when I say that we are very happy to receive this opportunity from Rodcad. They are a well known organisation that has proven it’s stability over the years. They had some good CoD4-teams in the past with some nice results and we strongly believe that we can take over where they left off. You can all see us playing under the rodcad tag on OOF3 were we will do our bests to compete with the top of the pie. We have some players that are quite familiar with the Rodcad organisation. Gevers, gig and niZ have played for Rodcad in the past and are more then happy to call it home once more.

We would like to thank etRnal for the support they have given us but it became clear that our team and the organisation had a different point of view on some points and a further collaboration seemed impossible. We wish them the best of luck in the future and hope they feel the same way about us. As a finishing touch I would like to say that niZ and the G’s are ready to kick ass and from now on, they’ll do it Rodcad-style baby!"
