Team Sypher terug met nieuwe 1.6 team!

Zonet werd ons bekend gemaakt dat de Belgische organisatie Team-Sypher weer de scene betreedt met een gloednieuwe CS 1.6 team.

Sinds augustus vorig jaar besloot Sypher hun counter-strike team uit de organisatie te verwijderen door de onstabiele line-up en een tal andere redenen. Maar vandaag verandert Sypher hun mening en ze zijn blij om dit nieuwe team aan te trekken die gekent is als xfire. Na hun ijzersterke prestaties op fom 11.0 hebben ze niet alleen Team-Sypher maar vooral de belgische scene overtuigd dat ze in concurrentie kunnen aangaan met  LLL en tek9. Ze wonnen in de halve finale van tek9 maar helaas verloren ze de finale van LLL.

Statement by Riccardo ‘hutCh’ Natalizio:

We are pleased to join the organization of Sypher. After the FoM LAN we realized that if we wanted to continue playing at a high level we needed a supporting hand! Therefore it’s an normal move that we felt confident to choose for this organization. I don’t think it’s needed to precise that our motivation is very high! Our objective now is to fulfill our goals, and we hope we’ll be able to do sowith a lot of success.  

Statement by Geoffrey ‘fwiet’ De Bie:

After the struggles in the past with Counter-Strike 1.6 in Sypher we decided a few months ago to put it all behind us and get our focus back on the COD series. So far this has been a great success and we're happy that we've put our name back in the European scene.

But of course one game ain’t enough and after a lot of 1.6 applications we started to think why not giving it one more chance!... We've checked out a lot of teams in the past months and we received a pile of offers from teams all over Europe… But in CS 1.6 we've always fought on the Benelux scene and we won't change that for now. Today I'm happy to present you the team of xfire. This Walloon line-up has set their name already in the past years within the Benelux, and is known for their stability. What I like in them is their different mentality compared to many Flemish & Dutch teams… I wish the guys good luck as I'll be following them personally day by day!
