Gisteren kwamen wij nog met het nieuws dat FnaticMSI besloten had om niet deel te nemen aan het aankomende seizoen van de Scandinavische ESL Pro Series (EPS). Vandaag konden we echter op hun webstek lezen dat ze op deze beslissing terug gekomen zijn.
FnaticMSI zal dus wel deelnemen aan de ESL Pro Series, het wordt voor hen het derde seizoen dat ze meedoen aan dit toernooi. Nadat er gesprekken zouden geweest zijn tussen het Counter-Strike team en ESL zelf zijn ze tot de conclusie gekomen om uiteindelijk dus deel te nemen. Nadat ze weer komen van MSI's BEAT IT toernooi te Beijing zullen ze volledig geconcentreerd zijn op de EPS league.
Statement van Patrick 'cArn' Sattermon, de Team-Captain van FnaticMSI:
After several discussions with the staff from ESL we came to the conclusion that FnaticMSI would return to the EPS season and we will take up the race to win the title when we come back from Beijing where we are now participating in the MSI Beat it finals.
I would like to use this moment to thank ESL for listening to our concerns and we do hope the upcoming season will run smoothly. I also want to send my apologizes to the community for the confusion we have caused in the past week but I promise we will pay you back in terms of intensive games in the season 3.
